Template Manager and Oki Printers

What is Template Manager

Template Manager is a utility that comes free with all OKI, non-impact printers to enable users to easily create and print documents such as banners, business cards, mailers, flyers and newsletters.
Template Manager gives everyone in the office the ability to produce these documents using the OKI print media software and a bit of imagination.

Template Manager is designed to empower your printer so that you get professional results in no time at all.

Template Manager also gives users the ability to lock images and text to prevent company logos and other corporate branding from being changed.

Template Manager 3.0 offers improved usability, the ability to produce multi-page reports, print duplex, automatically merge data and templates and create unique barcodes which help to the most out of OKI printers.

There are two levels of functionality - Lite and Standard

Template Manager Lite is supplied free of charge, and is available official OKI website
Template Manager Standard is available after registering free online and is also available at the official OKI website

Recent additions to Template Manager 3 Lite include:

• Adjustable internal text box margin - to allow the user to adjust the gap between the edge of the text box and the text.
• Easier selection of text box.
• Word wrap in boxes for easier formatting.
• Adjustable ruler - allows the user to change the units (cm, mm, or inches). The origin of the rulers (0, 0 point) can also be changed by clicking the square in the top left and dragging it along the ruler.
• Live updating of XY co-ordinates - to enable the user to place the text box or image exactly where required.

Template Manager 3 Standard:

This version is for the more advanced user and will have the same functionality as the Lite version. After registration and entering of a ‘key' the following features will be available:

• Multi-page support - documents and templates can have more than one page. If a document has more than one page you will see the tabs at the bottom of the page.
• Duplex printing.
• Clip Images (Image Masking) - you can use shapes to define which parts of the image to display. This can be useful, for example, if you are printing the image onto a CD label or an irregular shape.
